13 September 2016. Result - 0:2 win for Dartford (same score as the match against Margate last season). A beautifully warm, sunny evening, a stroll along Margate's seafront and a great match. Two goals in the closing 15 minutes earned Dartford their 3 points. Substitute Andy Pugh pounced from close range to open the scoring with skipper Elliot Bradbrook adding the second from the spot two minutes from the end after a foul on Danny Harris. In between the goals Margate had threatened an equaliser with Darts keeper Deren Ibrahim twice producing superb saves to deny home sub Elliott Buchanan.
