St Mary the Virgin, Corringham. There has been a church there since Saxon times. The current structure dates from the Norman 11th century. In 1940 during WWII a bomb was dropped in the churchyard and much damage was done to the roof and stained glass windows. However, in the years after the War, these were replaced.
