3 January 2015 at Princes Park for the boys fixtures (u10s to u15s) against Histon FC. Some excellent football in spells and great signs of progress against a club against whom Dartford have struggled with in the past. Histon FC (near Cambridge) has a long established tradition of producing excellent youth players. The season before last, their youth squad made the last 32 in the FA Youth Cup and were knocked out by Liverpool FC. Their pedigree as a semi-pro, non-league, youth producing club is well known! The red rose of their badge represents a rose-covered field gifted to the locality for sporting activities by local firm Chivers (now Chivers Hartley) probably best known for jam.
