7 December 2014. Dartford Football Club reach the FA Cup Second Round for the first time in thirty years. Valley Parade (now Coral Windows Stadium) was the scene of a tragic fire in 1985. Dartford supporters laid a wreath at the memorial. One Bradford supporter wrote: "So much respect for dartford after that game, laying the reef (sic) at the fire memorial was such a touching thing to do. Fans were brilliant too, not many teams can say they came to Valley Parade and out sung the bradford boys. Reminded me of when we went to Wembley. Anyway if any dartford fans reading this, well done and thank you for paying your respects." Another said "I'm a Bradford City fan and I can tell you we were worried before this game! I was at the match and the report is pretty accurate but I was impressed with the never say die attitude of the Dartford players and their willingness to try and play football instead of every man behind the ball and kick lumps off the opposition. Your supporters too were magnificent with their non stop vocal support and the wreath they laid at the Fire Memorial was a wonderful and greatly appreciated gesture by all at BCFC. Hope you survive in the Conference."
