27 March 2016. Millwall Lionesses' opening home game of the 2016 WSL season, against Everton Ladies took place at Princes Park. The fixture was originally scheduled to be played at The Den but has been moved. Millwall fans were encouraged to come along and support the Lionesses at the start of an exciting new era for Rebecca Sawiuk's side. Lionesses 2-2 Everton. Really good second half as both sides took the chances offered to them.
