5 September 2017. 0:4 win for Dartford. Goals Alfie Pavey (8'), Ryan Hayes (24'), Elliot Bradbrook (45') Lyle Della Verde (90'). On a drizzly overcast evening at the Enclosed Ground, Dartford sparkled. Great to have goalkeeper Deren Ibrahim back from Gibraltar duty. It was like watching an exhibition match, complete dominance by Darts from start to finish. As many as around 12 great goal chances so it could easily have been a lot more than 4. So many positives to enjoy at the moment, our squad looks super strong. Nice to see Alfie Pavey score again, I think that's 3 in 5. He's doing great and is almost unrecognisable from the Alfie Pavey of last season. Hard to fault anyone tonight as the entire 14 played very well, however Ryan and Lyle were the standouts for me as they tortured poor Whitehawk all night. As fans waited to exit the ground, a group of Whitehawk fans had obviously been impressed as they were all agreeing amongst themselves that Dartford would surely end up as champions. Regardless of whether or not they are correct, it does serve to show just how impressive we were tonight. One small concern was Deren Ibrahim who seemed to hurt his shoulder and was clearly concerned about it for a while during the second half. Hopefully this is nothing serious.
