An entertaining F A Trophy First Round match against old rivals Dover Athletic at Princes Park. Ronnie Vint scored the equaliser for Dartford. A few Dover fans decided to make a nuisance of themselves and let off smoke bombs at Princes Park. I heard later that Dover supporters arriving by train had, allegedly, made their ugly presence felt in town before the match and even put a lighted firework in a rubbish bin. Not the usual sort of good-natured football support we are used to.
Nice to see Jim Stevenson and Tyrone Sterling back at Princes Park, and now playing for a Vanarama National side.

Dartford FC chalk up another win, 3 goals, against bottom of the table Bishops Stortford. Tom Gardiner celebrated his first goal for the Darts only to find it recorded as an own goal by the other team.
The Darts next play Welling Utd in the Kent Senior Cup, and then Weston-Super_Mare in the FA Trophy.
12 November 2016, not only Remembrance Weekend, but also the 10th anniversary of Dartford FC at Princes Park stadium. Elliot Bradbrook received an award for his 100th goal and Danny Harris made his 250th appearance for the club. Quite a lot in one day. Dartford kept Hemel Hempstead Town on their toes and Danny Harris scored on 40' and Luke Wanadio late in the second half to keep Dartford climbing the table, not far from the Play Off zone. Now that the clocks have been put back 1 hour, it gets dark really quickly and on this particular day it was grey and somewhat wet with poor light so by the end of the match the camera was at 10,000 iso in order to keep the shutter speed high enough. Thank heavens for good camera equipment!
Dartford FC end their pre-season campaign winning 5 of their 6 games, scoring 12 goals, ready for the start of the 2015-16 season.
A non-commital Tony Burman summed up the pre-season games "Neither excited nor disappointed" after Dartford finished their pre-season campaign with a 2-0 win at VCD Athletic on Tuesday night.
The official team shot is shortly to be done, signalling the start of the 2015-16 season.
